Promoters, authors, editors welcome!

More class detail:

This class will last FOUR days from 6pm to 8pm CENTRAL time. Once you pay your fee I will invite you to the exclusive yahoo group for that weeks training. If you miss class I will be posting the days training in the files section of the yahoo group. Each class will be about a certain subject. Once I go over the material we will have discussion time. I will also allow private emails and questions during that week.

-Branding you name. Why is it important? How to do it. How to afford it.
-Treating writing like a business.
-Newsletters and contests
-Reviews and how they impact your branding and promotion
-Banners and advertising. Where does it pay to be seen?
-Chats, yahoo groups, interviews
-Print ad campaigns
-Conventions and booksellers incentives
-Bookmarks and other promotion information
-Blogs and websites -There will be some quest speakers as well who specialize in each of these areas. This will include web people, promoters, review site staff and more!

This class covers a TON of material...everything from going to conference (should you), which reviews sites are best to advertise at and are cost effective, banners (do them or not and how to do them cheap if you do), a newsgroup (need one or not...If you do how do some people have 1000 members and you have 50?).

Another thing published authors don't always know...How do people who started in epublishing have a PR advantage? HOW can you get it if you didn't? Those epublished authors learned all the cheap promo things and grab a certain group of readers. Many entered the published world with a newsgroup of high hundreds THEN they do all the stuff you do. So they come in with a following - think Angela Knight, Cheyenne McCray. They made the eworld work for them.

I have special guests. Cheap wonderful web people for instance who don't charge an arm and a leg. I cringe when places quote $500-$1000 per site! Then we will talk about why some people get huge site hits and others DON'T. them or not? And if you run them..WILL THEY COME?

How to put together a press kit and max your bookseller exposure!

We will cover all kinds of free places to post contests and news…
Publishers, promo people, whoever, are welcome. I really do want this to be a resource to help

Coming June 2006: JOSHUA'S FAITH

When it comes to marketing, Lisa Renee Jones knows it all. In her class, she opened doors we never knew existed, lead us down paths we may have missed on our own, and opened our eyes to worlds we had only dreamed about. Answering endless questions long after the end of class is just one of the ways she proved to her students that she cared about each and every one. Once in the dark about promoting my books, I will forever thank Lisa for leading me towards the light and possible success!

Written from the heart. Thank you so very much.

Three sensual romances where love and lust collide with danger.

No One But Madison (May 2006) - He chains her, trains her, but can he tame her?
Hunting Diana (July 2006) - A tender kiss, a drop of blood, a hunger denied.
Tanner’s Angel (August 2006) - Move over Jack Rabbit. Angel’s got herself a man! /

After completing a workshop with Lisa Renee Jones I feel empowered to make the necessary steps toward my goals in the writing field. She has selfishly shared her time and experience and offered a plethora of resources that would take years to learn on my own.
